This piece is in an interesting context. You've taken an image that was sexy and sensual and made it into an advert for junk food. Ut's still tantilising, still desirable, but you've changed the direction which is wickedly smart and makes for a good, playful image. The complimentary colours give it a commercial feel but it still looks scrappy and indie at its core which is something I personally love in collage.

Nice work. :+fav:

:D this is funny...i never really thought about the message or communication of this, or most of my work infact, the two picture together what they say etc...i kinda just put stuff together based on how they look/feel together...yes i knew what the type said and saw a link between the mouths and the type but i admit i didnt think to much about it.

I love how youve interpreted it i spose i should have said that was my intention all along ;) i hate working to themes and concepts, i love when the piece is left open and we can bring our own interpretations and discoveries. thanks for your comment :)

Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.
I too think it's great when things are left open. I often know how I was feeling and what I was intending with a piece but that makes it no less fascinating when someone tells me their version or what they see. Bob Dylan said when he was younger that the critics told him what his music meant. He never thought about it while he was writing it, he was just doing what came completely naturally, and the critics decided it was political and what it meant. Although this can probably be a pin in the arse in some respects, it's also great to see what message your pieces are conveying, however unintentionally.
